## What is it?

EasyTime for Chrome is an extension that connects Chrome to EasyTime for Jira. While the extension is active, every ten minutes EasyTime checks your browser history for Jira issue keys and records your time against them.

### Before you start

- EasyTime for Chrome requires EasyTime for Jira to be installed on your Jira instance
- You must be in a "tracked group" in EasyTime. You can test this by viewing a ticket in you are working on in Jira for a little while. If an automatic record is created, you should be good to go.
- You need to generate a token to authenticate EasyTime for Chrome with Jira - See [Creating a Token for an EasyTime Integration](https://techtime-website.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EasyTime/pages/5407115) for instructions
