### Confluence Cloud

See [Getting Started with EasyTime for Confluence Cloud](https://techtime-website.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EasyTime/pages/7733558)

### Confluence Data Center

You need to:

- Be working with linked Confluence and Jira applications. Ideally, [application links](https://confluence.atlassian.com/applinks/link-atlassian-applications-to-work-together-785449117.html) should be set up by someone who is an admin on both applications.
- [Install EasyTime for Confluence](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1224567/easytime-time-tracker-automatic-confluence-time-tracking?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview)
- [Install EasyTime for Jira](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221009/easytime-automatic-time-logging?tab=overview&hosting=datacenter), as EasyTime for Confluence is a companion application to EasyTime for Jira.
- [Configure EasyTime for Jira](https://techtime-website.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EasyTime/pages/5309085)

Once the above is completed, no further configuration is necessary on the Confluence side. You can test whether the plugin is working by editing a Confluence page with a Jira issue key on it and checking that EasyTime has logged time on that issue in the Jira you have linked. Time isn't always logged - for example, we don't overwrite manually created work logs. [This page](https://techtime-website.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EasyTime/pages/7635201) may help if that is the case.
