## Early Access Atlassian APIs

Some actions and filters for the old user experience use APIs in early access from Atlassian. These APIs may change or stop working at any moment. To use these features on your site, you must enable this option from the Create or Edit Source Modal, on the Sources page.

#### Enabling EAP API usage

On the Sources page, there is a column listing the EAP API usage as either ENABLED, DISABLED, or N/A for each source. N/A is for organisations that use the new user experience and do not need these APIs.

By clicking the Edit button for an existing source. There is a checkbox option to enable the Atlassian EAP API usage.

When adding a new source, the same checkbox appears at the bottom of the modal.

Note: If your organisation is on the new user experience, and you check this box. Nothing will happen, and the column in the table will only show N/A for your source. This is because all functionality is already available to new user experience organisations.

Once enabled, the source table will update the EAP API column to show that the source can use EAP APIs.

Click Edit and then uncheck the ‘Allow Atlassian EAP API usage’ checkbox to disable EAP API usage.
