## Summary

Atlassian Cloud offers a different approach to managing users than Data Center. Because of this, we do not support the automatic migration of your existing User Management instance to Cloud.

We suggest instead to review existing Scheduled User Actions in DC and selectively recreating them in cloud.

## Migration Steps

1. Check your existing Schemes on the Data Center for supported/unsupported operations.
2. Install User Management on the cloud.

### Pre-Migration - Review Existing Schemes

A list of schemes is available under the “Scheduled User Actions” page. (accessible via. Manage Apps Page)

Some filters and actions do not work the same way in cloud, and won’t be able to be recreated in cloud.

##### Unsupported Data Center filters:

- Only logged in once
- Password Reset Date

##### Unsupported Data Center Actions:

- Rename
- Create Jira Issue
- Invalidate Password

When recreating your Scheduled Action Schemes in Cloud, some actions and filters have specific requirements to work, unlike Data Center. The filters/actions below behave slightly differently in Cloud than in Data Center. Review how your schemes work before migration.

Actions/Filters:

- By time since last login - Time since the user last logged into any of the sites they have access to. Atlassian has a 24-hour delay for the information used in this filter.
- By time since last login to a specific product - Same as above, but restricted to listed products.
- Never logged in - User must not have logged into any site they have access to. Atlassian has a 24-hour delay for the information used in this filter.
- Never logged into specific product - Same as above, but restricted to listed products.
- Suspended - User must be suspended in all sites they have access to.
- Deactivate/Reactivate/Delete users - User must be a managed account, and you must have claimed your domain to perform these actions. - Add Groups - User must be in the site the group belongs to, to be added to it.

User Management Cloud needs an Organisation API key without scopes to work. #### Note on TechTime Core:

TechTime Core is a Data Center-specific app bundled with other TechTime apps. It provides context parameters, such as the footer, for use with the TechTime apps. This app is not available on Cloud and does not require migration. It will not impact any features or functionality in the Cloud environment.
